50th Anniversary

Memory Book

Holy Cross Parish will begin the process of creating a portrait memory book in coordination with the Parish 50th Anniversary.  Each family will be able to sign-up for their portrait appointment after each mass

through the weekend of May 18th. 

The first portrait session will be from Tuesday 5/28 through Saturday June 1st.  The second portrait session will be from Tuesday 6/18 through Saturday 6/22. 

*Note: Portrait times during the

weekdays will be from 2PM-8:30PM.

Portrait time on Saturdays will be from 10AM-5PM.

Many rich cultures come together in Morgan City; (1) the Cajun Culture of South Louisiana; (2) the Italian Culture and; (3) the cosmopolitan atmosphere provided by the many oil related workers who have made Morgan City their home. The gifts of each culture are celebrated and shared in the community of Holy Cross. Founded during Vatican II, the leadership has tried to form the parish into “the people made one with the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy “Spirit.” Holy Cross exists for one reason: To continue the mission of Jesus to bring all to the knowledge of and union with His Father.
